For a given validation code, you can maintain a list of acceptable values that apply to that code using the Validation Codes Valid Values window.
To Create a Valid Value:
1. |
Click the Setup button on the TabWare Power Panel to open the Setup Power Panel window. |
2. |
Click the Validation Codes Valid Values button on the Setup Power Panel to open the Validation Codes Valid Values window. |
3. |
Choose one of the Validation Codes displayed. |
4. |
Click the New button. |
5. |
Enter a Valid Value. |
6. |
Press the TAB key. |
7. |
Enter a description in the Description field. |
8. |
Press the TAB key to enter another value for the same element and then repeat step 3. |

Click OK to return to the Setup menu or choose another Validation Code. A window displays with the following message: Changes made to Valid Values. Do you want to update before continuing? |
10. |
Click the Yes button to add values to the database for the element just chosen. |
11. |
Repeat steps 2 through 5 to add values for other Validation Codes. |
12. |
Click OK after adding all values. |
To Delete a Valid Value:
1. |
Choose a Validation Code. |
2. |
Click on the Valid Value to be deleted. |
3. |
Click the Delete button. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to delete values from the same Validation Code or choose another Validation Code. A window displays the following message: Changes made to Valid Values. Do you want to update before continuing? |

Click the Yes button to confirm deletion of the values from the database. |
5. |
Repeat steps 2 through 5 to delete values for other Validation Codes. |
6. |
Click OK after deleting all values. |
