In addition to identifying shipping methods, you can also indicate if freight charges and tax on freight are valid charges. These two settings affect the processing of supplier invoices.
If you select Allow Charges, the user can enter an amount for freight on the Totals tab of the Invoice Notebook. If you select Allow Taxes, a field named Freight Tax appears on the Totals tab that allows entry of an amount applicable to the tax on freight charges.
