Before using the Messaging feature, the system administrator must perform configuration and setup procedures. Each user must have a user ID, which is typically setup as the user’s login ID. The system administrator normally establishes the user’s ID when a new employee is entered into the system. For more information about entering a new employee into the system, refer to Using the Employee Notebook in Resources.
