Displaying Item Usage Information

The fields shown on the Usage tab display transaction activity by accounting period and the quantities issued, returned, adjusted, received, restocked, maximum exceeded, and stockout. These elements show summary totals for the individual accounting periods. The values displayed on the Usage tab cannot be changed.

For locations where the Multiple Warehousing feature is enabled, the Detail tab of the Usage window displays the transaction activity for each individual stores location that stocks the item. Click the dropdown arrow in the Stores Location field to select the location for which you want to view information. In addition to the information provided for locations with a single stores location, those using Multiple Warehousing can view information on quantities transferred into and out of each stores location.

Also, if your location has Multiple Warehousing turned on, the Summary tab is visible at the bottom of the window, enabling you to view summary information from all the stores locations in which the item is found.

Selecting Display Options for Usage Information

Clicking the Display Options button at the bottom of the Usage tab opens the Display Options window, which controls the display of information. You can display totals for the period, month, quarter, and year, as well as the grand total.
