The Quantities tab provides information of various types, including: (1) actual balance on hand, (2) quantities for replenishment order requests that are in progress, and (3) quantities related to demands that have been entered, such as a reservation.
If you are using the Repairables Tracking feature and the repairable checkbox is checked on the Item tab, repair quantities are also shown on the Quantities tab. The Quantity Not Returned for Repair tracks the broken item between the time the replacement item is issued from stores and the broken item is returned to the storeroom for future repair. The Quantity Awaiting Repair reflects the total quantity ready for repair. The Quantity Being Repaired reflects the quantity undergoing repairs internally and items that have been received from an outside repair shop but not yet restocked. Items that are sent outside for repairs are processed on a purchase order and are included in either Quantity For Purchase–Approved or Quantity on Purchase Order until the item is received.
If you are using the Multiple Warehousing feature, quantities in transit between stores locations are also shown on the Quantities tab. Information is available both for the individual stores locations and in summary form for all locations.
The Summary tab summarizes information from all stores locations, giving quantity information on the item for the entire facility.
The Quantity tab provides quantity information at the individual stores location level. To select the location for viewing, click the dropdown arrow under the Stores Location field.
The Dates tab displays the last date the list of actions occurred for the item. The list of actions are Received, Issued, Restocked, Returned, and Ordered.
