You can enter a long description and identify safety procedures and permits related to ISO 9000 and mechanical integrity on the Desc/Permits tab.
Using the Desc/Permits tab, you can expand on a work order description and enter unlimited text to further describe the scope of work.
You can establish information related to safety procedures and permits under the Validation Codes Valid Values window in the Setup module. When creating a code, you must assign it to a category, such as Permits, Protective Equipment, or Safety Procedures. When you access the Desc/Permits tab, the system displays each valid code, grouped by the assigned category.
If the work order has been given a scheduled start date and time in TabWare's Scheduling module, that date and time are displayed on this tab. In the unusual case where a work order is on two different schedules, with a Scheduled Start Date and Time entered on both schedules, the Work Order Notebook shows the earliest Scheduled Start Date and Time.
